Mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and get ready for a delightful time at Mercado on Fifth's Loteria Fridays.

Loteria is a game like bingo played with cards instead of ping pong balls. Each card has a picture and a number, but the number doesn't usually matter. Players have a board with a 4x4 grid of pictures. They choose a board to play with from a selection of different ones. The Traditional deck of cards has 54 different pictures. The caller shuffles the deck and picks a card one by one, announcing the name of the picture. Players find the matching picture on their board and mark it. They use rocks, bottle caps, or beans as markers. The winner is the first player to shout "¡Buenas!" or "¡Lotería!" after completing a row, column, diagonal, four corners, or full card.

The game is a perfect way to spend time with family or friends.
